<p>When it comes to answering what are the top things Dr Oz promotes, integrative medicine tops the list. Integrative medicine refers to combining different therapies with the traditional treatments. In addition, he has also promoted acupuncture and energy based practices along with homeopathy. In his interview to the O magazine, Dr Oz recommended homeopathy as a therapy. In the same interview, Dr Oz evaluates four distinct approaches including acupuncture, neurology, homeopathy and nutrition. Two drugs that he specifically mentions include oscillococcinum and arnica. To cure headaches, Dr Oz promotes magnesium which he says relieves muscles and arteries in the body.</p>

Interestingly, he has spoken extensively on techniques that can help in getting rid of extra pounds. Eating African mangoes for instance, has been his tip to reduce cholesterol levels. He has recommended healthier food options to cut down on junk foods that adversely affect the body.</p>
